4 tips for organizing and archiving photos

Being organized makes life that much easier – this is as true for your computer as it is for your desk. The masses of images that seem to collect quickly become disorganized and cluttered. MAGIX has a solution for exactly this problem. MAGIX Photo manager MX Deluxe allows you to organize your photos in lots of different ways quickly and easily.

  1. Chronological order:
Every photo is sorted by “Date taken” in the program’s built in calendar. This makes it easy to search for specific times and seasons etc, so you can find snapshots from your last vacation or Christmas party in no time at all.
  2. Categorize:
Sorting your collection by category makes it easier to find individual photos. You can either use the default categories provided or create your own. It is also possible for photos to feature in more than one category, e.g. vacation photos in “Vacation” and in “Family. The best part is that you don’t have to tidy up the folders containing your photos because they remain saved in the same place after being categorized. The categories will help you find what you’re looking for super fast. Categories are also great for creating themed slideshows for birthdays or family celebrations.
  3. Create albums:
At long last you can arrange photos in albums according to topics you choose yourself. Find pictures from events, or your spring photo collection for instance compiled in one single folder.
