The holiday season is coming to an end. What remains? Great memories and maybe a few recordings on your camera. If you are traveling with a Windows 8 tablet, then we have a few tips on how you can make your vacation recordings look even better with the MAGIX Movie Edit Touch (MET) app.
As soon as the app starts you can import images or videos from your tablet into the current project. Once you have imported all the images or videos you need for your slideshow or vacation movie, you can get started with the editing process. Simply double tap on the image or scene that you want in the scene overview section.
A menu will then open on the right-hand side. Here you can see the various settings that are available. The brightness regulator is at the top and, as in any other video editing program, the contrast controller is also nearby. A simple color correction is integrated in the app, which you can manually control using the large color wheel.
Those who don’t want to edit manually can select the “Auto correction” button to apply the optimum contrast and brightness settings for the recording. Any changes will be immediately applied in Movie Edit Touch and displayed in the preview monitor. Undesirable settings can be reversed using the button “Undo settings”.
Another feature is that all Movie Edit Touch projects are compatible with the Movie Edit Pro 2013 video editing program as well as the forthcoming Movie Edit Pro 2014.
MAGIX is extending a special offer for the versions Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus and Movie Edit Pro 2014 Premium. Buy one of these programs and get the Movie Edit Touch app for free!
